Casey Bjoralt is a Licensed Registered Dietitian who has been working in the field of eating disorders for the past five years. She currently serves as the state regulatory specialist for NDAND and is a current member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She graduated from North Dakota State University.

Amy Davis is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Director of Nutritional Services at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from North Dakota State University and has worked in many areas of dietetics including acute and long-term care, outpatient medical nutrition therapy, weight management, outpatient dialysis and clinical nutrition management. Amy is the past-chair of the Academy’s Nutrition Services Payment Committee and has served as the Reimbursement Representative for the North Dakota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Heidi Ganzer is a Registered Dietitian, author, speaker and a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO). She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and received her Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition (CNC) degree from Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions in Newark, New Jersey.  Past employment as the Nutrition Therapy Director at Minnesota Oncology and as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN have contributed to her wealth of evidenced-based, practical knowledge. Dr. Ganzer is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Rutgers School of Health Professions.

Heidi Ganzer, DCN, RDN, CSO, LD

Penni Hicks currently holds the position of Medical Science Liaison for Research and Development at Abbott Nutrition.  She received her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Houston in Texas then completed a PhD in Nutritional Biology at the University of California, Davis.  She has held several research and teaching positions and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the USDA-ARS Children’s Nutrition Research Center, Houston, Texas.

Penni Davila Hicks, PhD, RD, LD

Lisa Jahns is a Research Nutritionist at the USDA-ARS Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center in Grand Forks, ND. Her undergraduate degree in Nutrition & Dietetics was completed at Texas Christian University.  She received her PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests include dietary assessment through use of technology and biomarkers, testing adherence to and health benefits of following the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and behavioral constructs that increase fruit and vegetable consumption and the impact these have on health and body weight.

Lisa Jahns,

PhD, RD

Dr. Johnson is an Associate Profession and Clinical Scholar in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and completed his medical training at the University of Nebraska Medical School. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Johnson is a longtime advocate for many public health issues and has served as medical director and/or consultant for organizations such as the STEP Chemical Dependency Program for Women and ND Quits (tobacco cessation), Valley Memorial Homes, Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center, and Altru Diabetes Center in Grand Forks.  Additionally he is a committed advocate for diabetes education and training for health care professionals and patients.  He has been active in development of an interdisciplinary training course that includes all health care disciplines represented on the UND campus.

Amanda Nack is a Licensed Registered Dietitian who has been working in the field of eating disorders for the past two years. She has been a past treasurer for NDAND and is a current Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics member. She graduated from Concordia College and is currently working on her master’s degree in nutrition.

Amanda Nack, RDN, LRD

Brian Sorenson is currently Program Manager for the Northern Crops Institute located in Fargo, North Dakota. He is responsible for developing and coordinating educational courses to teach representatives of the global food and feed industries on the use and value of crops from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Montana.  He recently returned to NCI, where from 2001 to 2011, he held positions as Technical Director and Director, as well as Wheat Quality Specialist with NDSU Extension Service from 2000 to 2008.  Brian served as VP of Operations for Dakota Specialty Milling from 2011 until July of 2018, and worked for Purina Mills from 1989 to 2000 as Process Research Scientist.  Brian earned an M.S. Degree in Cereal Chemistry from North Dakota State University in 1989, and a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Mayville State University in 1986.

Bri Srnsky is a Licensed Registered Dietitian who has also passed credentialing and is currently a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD). She is an approved supervisor for IAEDP. She has been working in the field of eating disorders for the past eleven years. She currently serves as the consumer protection coordinator for NDAND and is a current member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Bri Srnsky,

RDN, LRD, CEDRD

Stephen Wonderlich is the Chester Fritz Distinguished Professor in the neuroscience department at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is co-director of the Sanford Eating Disorder and Weight Management Center, and was director of clinical research at the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute in Fargo. His undergraduate degree is from Concordia College and he received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri. He has published multitudes of peer reviewed papers, written chapters in numerous books, and continues to mentor graduate and medical students. Dr. Wonderlich has dedicated his career to studying the impact of eating disorders on health and lifestyle.
